Much of my artistic inspiration is found through time spent in nature. Whether sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing, or flying, I find our relationship to the natural world is riddled with metaphors to express questions we may have about relationships and existence. Through the persistent and patient practice of observation, nature’s textures and cycles become a language source used to sculpturally call the viewer into a contemplative space.
These sculptural meditations are created to provide a dimensionality to our wonderings and ponderings; becoming objects that stimulate pause and reflection. Some of these are expressed through a series, while some are single, stand-alone pieces.
